• A farming project: This land division is concurrent with a process under the Roads (Opening and Closing) Act which seeks to realign the boundaries of Humphris Road so that they are aligned with the physical position of the road.
• Pieces of the farmland are therefore being opened as Public Road · other pieces are being closed and will become farmland.
• As a result of this realignment there are some small portions of land that are currently part of the allotments on the eastern side of Humphris Road but which will end up being on the western side of the realigned road reserve.
• This land division application seeks to transfer those small pieces of land so that they are merged with the allotments on the western side of Humphris Road · thus avoiding a situation where a tiny portion of an allotment exists across the road from the main part of the allotment.
• This land division therefore is a realignment of boundaries which will be beneficial to the efficient use of land for farming purposes..
