• A industrial project: To build 4 Jackson Australia Grower Shelters 30 meters by 10 meters each.
• Our business viability and sustainability is very reliant on supplying Coles Supermarkets with approximately 500 pigs per week within their very tight market specifications.
• Coles have requested our business as with other suppliers to increase our carcass weight by 10% on female pigs and over 15% on male pigs being 82kg and 90kg Hot Standard Carcass Weight respectively.
• To meet their required market specifications we will need to hold and feed female pigs minimally for a further week and male pigs for 2 weeks subject to seasonal conditions.
• To do this we require approval to build 4 Jackson Eco Shelters which is paramount to our business viability and relationship with Coles.
• The project will hopefully commence soon after approval as our supply contract is pending our ability to meet the required specifications.
